Muted colors are used for the overall aesthetic to create a soothing and serene atmosphere, with pops of color used as accent elements to add visual interest. These colors are inspired by the natural hues of the Gulf Coast and Karankawa's connection to the land and sea. Elements of their traditional structures, such as woven textiles, are added to the design creating a sense of harmony with the surrounding environment.
